19th-ranked Indiana aims bounce back vs. struggling Michigan

Feb 17, 2007 - 4:06 PM No. 19 Indiana (17-7) at Michigan (17-9) 4:00 pm EST

ANN ARBOR, Michigan (Ticker) -- Coach Kelvin Sampson and Indiana may have picked the wrong time to start stumbling away from home.

The 19th-ranked Hoosiers hope to end a three-game road losing streak Saturday when they battle struggling Michigan in a Big Ten Conference matchup.

Indiana (17-7, 7-4 Big Ten) is coming off Thursday's 81-68 disappointing letdown at intrastate rival Purdue.

D.J. White had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Hoosiers, who are just 2-6 away from Bloomington this season.

Michigan enters after recording its fifth loss in six contests with Tuesday's 59-44 setback at Michigan State. Dion Harris was the lone Wolverine to score in double figures with 13 points.

However, the Wolverines (17-9, 5-6) have won four of their last five matchups at Crisler Arena - including three of four against conference foes.

In the first meeting, Indiana rolled to a 76-61 victory over Michigan on January 27 with White and Roderick Wilmont scoring 15 points apiece.
