Feb 19, 2007 - 3:07 PM Villanova (18-8) at No. 13 Marquette (21-7) 7:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Marquette seeks to snap a three-game losing streak on Monday when it hosts Villanova in a Big East Conference contest.

The Golden Eagles (21-7, 8-5 Big East) looked like a lock to earn a first-round bye in the Big East tournament as one of the top four seeds before dropping their last three games at Georgetown, at DePaul and home to Louisville.

Villanova (18-8, 6-6) is coming off a 58-55 loss against Georgetown. The Wildcats had won four in a row before they were denied a chance to complete a sweep of Georgetown.

Jerel McNeal scored 18 points in the Golden Eagles' 61-59 loss to Louisville on Saturday. Jerry Smith won it for the Cardinals with a 3-pointer at the buzzer after Marquette squandered a seven-point lead in the last 3 1/2 minutes.
