SOUTH ORANGE, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The first-place team meets a school that will likely miss the Big East Conference tournament on Monday.

Pittsburgh (23-4, 10-2 Big East) is not only looking for a No. 1 seed in the Big East tournament, but a top seed in the NCAA tournament as well.

The Panthers lost their last conference game against Louisville, but bounced back with a 65-61 win over Washington of the Pac-10 on Saturday. Pitt star center Aaron Gray was held to just five points, but made a key layup with under three minutes left.

Seton Hall (12-13, 3-9) has a seven-game conference losing streak and is two games behind Connecticut for the final spot in the Big East tournament.

Freshman guard Eugene Harvey led the Pirates with 19 points in an 81-71 loss at West Virginia on Saturday. Harvey is the Pirates' second leading scorer at 15.8 points per game, which also ranks eighth in the Big East. Junior Brian Laing leads the team with 16 points per game.
