Wisconsin looks to keep rolling against Michigan State

Feb 20, 2007 - 2:38 PM No. 2 Wisconsin (26-2) at Michigan State (19-8) 7:00 pm EST

EAST LANSING, Michigan (Ticker) -- Second-ranked Wisconsin has one more game before its showdown against No. 1 Ohio State on Sunday.

The Badgers (26-2, 12-1) will visit Michigan State in a Big Ten Conference contest on Tuesday night.

For the first time since last March, two schools from the same school are 1-2 in the USA Today/ESPN poll. And Ohio State and Wisconsin will settle that debate on Sunday. Connecticut and Villanova of the Big East were 1-2 in the poll last March.

Michigan State (19-8, 6-6 Big 10) has won two straight on the heels of a four-game losing skid. The Spartans rolled to an 81-49 victory over Iowa on Saturday. Drew Neitzel led Michigan State with 17 points and Raymar Morgan chipped in 16.

The Badgers set a school record with their 26th regular season win, a 75-49 victory over Penn State on Saturday. Star forward Alando Tucker led Wisconsin with 22 points, marking his seventh consecutive game over 20 points.

The Spartans can make a big impression on the NCAA Tournament selection commitee with a win over Wisconsin.
