UNLV aims to avenge loss against Air Force
Feb 20, 2007 - 3:08 PM No. 13 Air Force (23-4) at UNLV (22-6) 10:00 pm ESTLAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Nevada Las Vegas seeks to move into a tie for second place in the Mountain West Conference when it faces 13th-ranked Air Force on Tuesday.
Air Force (23-4, 10-3 Mountain West) won the first meeting, 56-50 on January 6 as Nick Welch, Danny Nwaelele and Matt McCraw scored 13 points apiece.
UNLV (22-6, 9-4) made 11-of-17 3-pointers in a win over Utah in its last game. Wink Adams led the Rebels with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Falcons are coming off a 67-58 win over Colorado State. Nwaelele led the Falcons with 18 points, including five 3-pointers, and McCraw added 15.
