(AP) -- Ben Uzoh and Justin Hurtt scored 16 points each as Tulsa rallied to defeat Southern Mississippi 60-52 Wednesday night.Jerome Jordan added 14 points, all in the second half, for the Golden Hurricane (19-5, 8-2 Conference USA), who extended their homecourt winning streak to 23 games, third best in the nation.
Gary Flowers scored 19 points to lead Southern Miss (14-9, 4-5), which had its four-game winning streak snapped.
Hurtt hit consecutive 3-pointers to give Tulsa its first lead at 43-42 with 5:12 remaining. From there the Hurricane fed the ball inside to the 7-foot Jordan, who had been aggressively fronted most of the game. Jordan scored 12 points in the final 4:31 and finished 8 of 10 from the free-throw line.
