EUGENE, Oregon (Ticker) -- Washington State and Oregon clearly are headed in different directions.

The 11th-ranked Cougars look to extend their five-game winning streak while the 24th-ranked Ducks hope to end their three-game slide Thursday when the schools square off in Eugene in a Pac-10 Conference contest.

The Cougars (22-4, 11-3 Pac-10) have moved into second place in the conference, one game behind UCLA. Washington State will be looking to avenge their last loss, a 77-74 home setback to Oregon on January 27.

A team that looked dominant just three weeks ago, the Ducks (20-7, 8-7) will have to start winning again if they hope to stay off the NCAA tournament bubble.

Washington State's last contest was a 65-61 victory over in-state rival Washington in which reserve Taylor Rochestie came off the bench to lead the team with 16 points.
