LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- UCLA hopes to get it right this time around.

Josh Shipp collected 22 points and six assists as UCLA (24-3, 13-2 Pac-10) picked up its third straight win with Thursday's 85-75 victory over California.

With a win, the Bruins can finish undefeated here for the first time since the 1994-95 squad accomplished the feat en route to winning the national title that season.

The Cardinal (17-9, 9-6) received 23 points and eight rebounds from freshmen Brook Lopez in Thursday's 69-65 setback at Southern California.
