IUPUI surge leads to 77-61 win over Southern Utah
Feb 21, 2010 - 2:54 AM INDIANAPOLIS(AP) -- Robert Glenn scored 28 points and Alex Young 21 as IUPUI defeated Southern Utah 77-61 Saturday night.Glenn, a senior playing in his final home game, also had a team-high six rebounds for IUPUI (20-9, 13-3), which clinched a tie for second in the Summit League.
The score was 33-33 at the half, but the Jaguars began the second half with a 21-3 run to put the game out of reach.
Leroy Nobles added 12 points for IUPUI and John Ashworth had eight assists.
Davis Baker was the only player in double figures for Southern Utah (6-21, 2-14) with 21 points. He also had a game-high seven rebounds.
The Thunderbirds made 57 percent of their shots in the game, but committed 26 turnovers that led to 22 IUPUI points. The Jaguars shot 52 percent from the field.
