Feb 28, 2010 - 4:50 AM PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas(AP) -- Michael Griffin and Chris Sights scored 11 points each to lead Prairie View A&M to a 62-53 victory against Alabama A&M on Saturday night.Christopher Jones and Darnell Hugee had 10 points apiece for the Panthers (15-11, 10-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference).
Bo Amusa had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Alabama A&M (10-13, 7-8), which shot 18 of 71 (25.4 percent) from the field.
The Bulldogs made just five first-half field goals - and went a stretch of 8:50 without a basket - en route to trailing 31-15 at halftime.
Jones had eight rebounds and five assists.
