OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- Kansas appears to be peaking at the right time.

The second-ranked Jayhawks shoot for their 10th straight win Saturday when they take on rival Kansas State in the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference tournament.

Kansas cruised to a 64-47 triumph over Oklahoma in Friday's quarterfinals, as coach Bill Self recorded his 100th win at the school.

Brandon Rush scored 16 points to pace the Jayhawks, who won this event last season and have won the last eight meetings with the Wildcats.

Kansas State routed Texas Tech, 66-45, in Friday's quarterfinals behind 20 points from senior guard Lance Harris.

The Wildcats lost both meetings with the Jayhawks this season by a combined margin of 36 points.
