OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- Oklahoma State is determined to win the Big 12 Conference tournament this year.

The red-hot Cowboys shoot for their second victory over a ranked team in as many days Saturday when they face No. 14 Texas in the conference tournament semifinals.

Oklahoma State took down second-seeded Texas A&M in Friday's quarterfinals when Mario Boggan made a runner with 11 seconds remaining for a 57-56 win.

The Longhorns advanced to the semifinals with a 74-69 victory Friday over Baylor. Freshman sensation Kevin Durant scored 29 points and grabbed 13 boards as Texas rallied from a 20-point deficit.

Texas and Oklahoma State split their regular-season series.

Boggan scored 37 points in a 105-103 triple overtime win in Stillwater on January 16. However, Oklahoma State suffered an 83-54 rout in Austin. Durant scored 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the victory.

The two teams have met four times previously in the Big 12 tournament, with each notching two wins. Oklahoma State beat Texas in the 2004 championship game.
