Mar 17, 2007 - 2:08 PM Indiana (21-10) at UCLA (27-5) 8:10 pm EDT

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Coach Ben Howland and UCLA wasted little time with in their opening round opponent and they hope to do the same on Saturday.

The second-seeded Bruins look to continue their impressive play in the second round of the NCAA Tournament when they face seventh seed Indiana in the West Region.

Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year Arron Afflalo was stellar for UCLA in Thursday's 70-42 first-round victory over 15th-seeded Weber State, finishing with 22 points and eight rebounds.

"Early on I was just being aggressive and get into my rhythm a little bit," Afflalo said. "The entire team did a great job playing together and finding our stride as a team."

The Bruins shot 46 percent (27-of-58) from the floor and hit 10-of-18 3-pointers in the victory.

Rodrick Wilmont's blistering shooting carried Indiana to a 70-57 triumph over 10th-seeded Gonzaga in its first round matchup two days ago. He connected on 6-of-11 shots from the arc and scored 22 points.

Hoosiers coach Kelvin Sampson hopes to receive a better start to the game from D.J. White, who was held to just two points in the first half. However, White came on strong to finish with 16 points.

The Big Ten Conference has been making noise in the Tournament this year, posting a 4-1 showing after the opening round. Illinois' two-point setback to Virginia Tech is the conference's lone loss so far.
