Oklahoma State never seriously threatened in the second half until the final minute, when Keiton Page drained a three-pointer and Markel Brown stole the ensuing inbounds pass and put in a layup while being fouled.

The bucket pulled the Cowboys within 71-66 with 18 seconds left, but Brown missed the free throw. Gibbs grabbed the long rebound, was immediately fouled and hit two free throws to ice the victory.
