Six players to leave Tulane
Apr 6, 2013 - 12:18 AM New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Josh Davis and Ricky Tarrant, the top two scorers on Tulane's basketball team, will transfer from the school.The Green Wave announced six players in all will be leaving the Tulane program. That includes junior guard Ben Cherry, reserve sophomore forward Lotanna Nwogbo and freshmen RaAnthony Sanders and Marc Eddy Norelia.
Tarrant, the Conference USA freshman of the year in 2011-2012, averaged 15.7 points last season. He apparently is transferring to play closer to his home near Birmingham, Ala.
Davis, a junior, averaged team-bests of 17.6 points and 10.7 rebounds this past season.
