Oregon tops Pacific

Nov 29, 2013 - 11:00 PM Eugene, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Mike Moser had 19 points and the 14th-ranked Oregon Ducks used a big second half to beat the Pacific Tigers, 85-62, in the Global Sports Hardwood Challenge.

Jason Calliste and Joseph Young added 15 and 14 points, respectively, for the Ducks (5-0), who shot 56 percent from the field and went 21-of-30 from the foul line.

T.J. Wallace and Trevin Harris both had 14 points for the Tigers (4-1), who shot 36.4 percent from the floor.

The Tigers actually dominated the first half and led 36-24 with over 2 1/2 minutes remaining.

But the Ducks scored the final five points of the half to gain some momentum.

Oregon started the second period on a 20-0 run to gain control of the game. Young tallied nine points during the spurt that Waverly Austin capped with a layup for a 49-36 lead.

Pacific never got closer than nine the rest of the way.
