Oklahoma State downs Louisiana Tech

Dec 14, 2013 - 10:19 PM Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Le'Bryan Nash scored a game-high 22 points with 10 rebounds as the seventh-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys defeated the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, 70-55, in the All-College Classic at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Markel Brown and Marcus Smart both contributed 13 points and Kamari Murphy had 10 points off the bench as the Cowboys (9-1) won their second straight game.

Chris Anderson had 14 points and eight rebounds, while Alex Hamilton notched 12 points for the Bulldogs (8-3), who won their previous two games before falling to the Cowboys in the first meeting between the two programs since 1993.

The Cowboys outscored Louisiana Tech, 7-1, with four points from Nash in the final 1:50 of the first half to take a 31-18 into the break.

Kenyon McNeail hit two straight shots from beyond the arc to cut Oklahoma State's lead to nine close to the halfway point of the second half. Smart set up a thunderous dunk from Brown off a quick inbounds pass to make it 49-40 with 9:18 remaining.

After Kenneth Smith scored on a jumper with 8:44 remaining, the Cowboys went on a 16-4 run that ended with a shot from beyond the arc courtesy of Brown, his team's first of the day.

Jaron Johnson and Hamilton both drained shots from beyond the arc within the final minute to account for the final margin.
