Elijah Brown leaving Butler
Apr 18, 2014 - 8:56 PM Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Elijah Brown is leaving the Butler basketball program.The university announced Friday that the freshman guard has been granted a release so he can seek a transfer to another school.
"We appreciate Elijah and all of his efforts throughout his time here at Butler," said head coach Brandon Miller. "(Elijah) and I have had discussions about his decision and we wish him nothing but the best."
Brown, the son of Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown, averaged 6.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 30 games this past season.
