Lipscomb junior guard Williams out for season with torn ACL
Dec 16, 2015 - 4:05 AM NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Lipscomb junior Josh Williams will miss the rest of the season due to a torn left anterior cruciate ligament. An MRI exam Tuesday confirmed the injury.
Williams was hurt in the first half of last week's 78-64 loss to Princeton. He averaged 12.6 points a game this season. The guard from Jackson, Mississippi, is scheduled for surgery Thursday.
