Georgetown takes undefeated record to Alabama

Dec 5, 2007 - 2:29 PM No. 4 Georgetown (5-0) at Alabama (4-2) 7:00 pm EST

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (Ticker) -- No. 4 Georgetown tries to remain undefeated when it visits Alabama on Wednesday.

Despite a sub-par performance from Roy Hibbert, Georgetown was able to pull away for a 61-49 victory over Fairfield on Saturday.

Hibbert scored a season-low seven points in the contest after scoring more than 12 each of his previous four games. The 7-2 bigman leads the Hoyas this season with 14.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

DaJuan Summers scored a season-high 16 points while Jonathan Wallace added 13, helping Georgetown overcome the lack of offense from Hibbert, who is the only Hoya averaging double figures this season.

Hibbert may have another tough game on Wednesday as he'll likely be matched up against preseason All-SEC forward Richard Hendrix, who is averaging 21.8 points and 12.8 rebounds.

Hendrix battled through foul trouble to score 17 points and collect four blocks as the Crimson Tide escaped with a 63-61 overtime win against Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday.
