DAYTON, Ohio (Ticker) -- The top two teams in the Horizon League last season collide on Saturday when No. 13 Butler takes on Wright State.

The Bulldogs opened league play on Thursday with a 53-46 victory at Detroit, but needed a 15-6 run over the final four minutes to secure the victory. Starting in place of senior Pete Campbell, freshman Matt Howard collected 20 points and 12 rebounds to place the Bulldogs.

Butler is 6-0 on the road. The Bulldogs also are 8-0 overall for the fourth time in seven seasons.

Three players average double figures for the Bulldogs - senior guard A.J. Graves (16.6 points per game), senior guard Mike Green (14.6) and Howard (12.0).

The Bulldogs have won only two of the last 10 games against the Raiders. Wright State has won six straight at home in the series, including last year's tournament championship game.

The Raiders dropped their league opener on Thursday to Valparaiso, 71-66, and have lost two straight overall. Senior guard Todd Brown averages a team-high 16.8 points for Wright State.

Butler leads the all-time series, 16-14.
