Butler adds graduate transfer Avery Woodson to roster
Apr 25, 2016 - 9:30 PM INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Former Memphis guard Avery Woodson will transfer to Butler.Coach Chris Holtmann made the announcement Monday.
Woodson will graduate this year and become immediately eligible for his final college season.
The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 9.6 points and made 43 percent of his 3-pointers last season at Memphis. He made 45 starts for the Tigers over the past two seasons and his 77 3s made last season were No. 5 on the school's single-season list.
