UCLA aims to keep offense rolling vs. Idaho State

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- No. 8 UCLA looks to assert its offensive authority when it hosts Idaho State on Saturday.

UCLA bounced back from its first loss of the season last Saturday, posting a 75-63 victory over Davidson as all five starters scored in double figures. The win was the Bruins' seventh this season by at least 12 points, with their only other victory coming by five points over then-No. 11 Michigan State.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute led UCLA to the win, scoring 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field while grabbing eight rebounds. With his performance, Mbah a Moute is now averaging 10.1 points, joining teammates Kevin Love, Josh Shipp, Russell Westbrook and Darren Collison, who also average at least 10.0 points a contest.

UCLA has faced Idaho State just three times in school history, posting a 2-1 record - including a 85-58 victory the last time the teams met in the 1983-84 season opener.

Idaho State's biggest win in school history came against the Bruins in 1977 when the Bengals posted a 76-75 upset in the West Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

However, the Bengals enter the game with three losses in their last four games, suffering a 93-61 setback to Boise State on in their last contest on December 5.
