No. 10 Michigan State looking for seventh straight win

EAST LANSING, Michigan (Ticker) -- Tenth-ranked Michigan State seeks its seventh straight victory when it hosts San Jose State on Wednesday at the Breslin Center.

The Spartans, who have won 32 straight home games against non-conference teams are looking to improve to 7-0 here this season after knocking off IPFW, 79-57, on Saturday.

Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year Drew Neitzel led the way with 18 points and five assists while Marquise Gray added 15.

Neitzel, the conference's returning leading scorer, is averaging 14.6 points and 4.7 assists. Sophomore Raymar Morgan leads the team in scoring at 16.8 points per game and is shooting 59 percent.

San Jose State is coming off Saturday's 62-57 loss to Northern Arizona. Freshman guard Justin Graham scored 18 points for the Spartans, who have lost three straight games.

Michigan has won both previous games in the all-time series, but the schools haven't played since 1989.
