Texas A&M continues homestand against Detroit
Dec 19, 2007 - 2:10 PM Detroit (4-6) at No. 11 Texas A&M (9-1) 8:00 pm ESTCOLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) - No. 11 Texas A&M continues its eight-game homestand when it hosts Detroit on Wednesday.
The Aggies have won their first two games during the stretch of home games - including a 64-37 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday.
Texas A&M is 7-0 at Reed Arena this season with the homestand continuing through the Big 12 opener against Colorado on January 12.
Josh Carter and Joseph Jones are the only two Aggies scoring in double figures, averaging 13.6 and 11.2 points, respectively.
The Titans are on a four-game losing streak, failing to score 70 points in any of the four contests.
Detroit - out of the Horizon League - is led senior guard Jon Goode, who is averaging 17.0 points. He has scored at least 20 points in his last four games.
In the only other meeting between the teams, the Aggies posted an 81-72 win over the Titans in 2000.
