Michigan State closes out non-conference slate against Green Bay

EAST LANSING, Michigan (Ticker) - No. 7 Michigan State closes out its non-conference schedule on Saturday against Wisconsin Green Bay.

The Spartans have won eight consecutive games and are looking to record their third straight perfect December. The Phoenix are playing their third Big Ten opponent of the season and their eighth game away from home.

Michigan State has won all five games against Green Bay.

Sophomore forward Raymar Morgan averages a team-high 16.8 points for the Spartans, while senior guard Drew Neitzel averages 14.3 points and 4.7 assists. Junior center Goran Suton averages 9.3 points and 8.6 rebounds for Michigan State.

The Phoenix snapped a two-game losing streak with a victory in their last game, 86-75 over Northern Illinois last Saturday. Green Bay has never beaten a team ranked in the top 10.

Junior forward Mike Schachtner averages a team-high 18.9 points for the Phoenix. Freshman guard Rahmon Fletcher and 6-foot-8 junior guard Ryan Tillema each average 10.4 points for Green Bay.
