Hansbrough, North Carolina end homestand with Kent State

North Carolina goes for its 14th straight win to begin the season when they host Kent State on Wednesday.
The top-ranked Tar Heels, who are off to their best start since beginning 17-0 during the 1997-98 campaign, are one of six remaining unbeaten teams left in Division I.
Junior forward Tyler Hansbrough has scored at least 20 points in six straight games, including a 23-point, 13-rebound performance against Valparaiso in Sunday's 90-58 victory. The Wooden Award candidate was also named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday for the fourth time this season.
Kent State comes in on a hot streak as well, winning seven straight games.
Senior forward Mike Scott leads the Golden Flashes in scoring, averaging 14.3 points. Scott scored 17 in Kent State's 84-69 victory over Cleveland State on Saturday.
