Red-hot Texas A&M closes out non-conference slate against LSU

The Aggies have won six consecutive games, all by least 22 points.
Texas A&M, which is 11-0 at home, is led by junior swingman Josh Carter at 13.8 points per game. Senior swingman Joseph Jones averages 11.3 points, while 7-foot freshman center DeAndre Jordan averages 10.5 points and 7.2 rebounds.
The Tigers have been a model of inconsistency. LSU has lost two straight and four of its last six games, including a 68-63 setback to Tulane on Wednesday.
Junior guard Marcus Thornton leads the Tigers in scoring at 17.9 points per game. Freshman forward Anthony Randolph averages 13.7 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds.
