Jan 9, 2008 - 2:15 PM St Bonaventure (6-8) at No. 25 Xavier (12-3) 7:00 pm EST

CINCINNATI (Ticker) - Xavier has been rolling of late and hopes to continue its recent string of routs on Wednesday against St. Bonaventure in the Atlantic-10 opener for both teams.

The 25th-ranked Musketeers have won their last four games by an average of 29.8 points and have defeated the Bonnies six consecutive times. Xavier leads the series, 19-15, and is 9-3 all-time in A-10 openers.

Xavier has six players, four of which are primary starters, averaging double figures. Senior guard Drew Lavender (12.7 ppg), sophomore forward Derrick Brown (11.7 points) and senior guard Stanley Burrell (11.3 points) have started every game for the Musketeers.

Junior swingman B.J. Raymond (11.7 ppg) has made nine starts, junior swingman C.J. Anderson (11.2) has started six games and senior forward Josh Duncan (10.3) has started 11 games for Xavier, which is 11-0 when four or more players score in double figures.

"We're a team right now that has a lot of different parts to it," coach Sean Miller said. "When you have that depth and you're unselfish, it really allows you to be consistent. Our depth is the one thing that really stands out."

St. Bonaventure snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday with a 65-62 home victory over Bucknell. The Bonnies are one victory shy of matching last year's win total, finishing 7-22 overall.

Senior forward Michael Lee leads St. Bonaventure, which is 0-7 on the road, in scoring at 18.2 points per game and rebounding at 8.1 per game. Senior guard Zarryon Fereti averages 14.3 points.

The Musketeers haven't lost at home in the series since the 1972-73 season.
