WASHINGTON (Ticker) - No. 8 Georgetown has opened Big East Conference play with a pair of double-digit victories. The Hoyas will look to make it three straight on Saturday against Connecticut.

The Huskies (11-3, 2-1) rebounded from a loss to Notre Dame with a 81-65 home victory over St. John's on Tuesday.

Sophomore guard Jerome Dyson leads five UConn players averaging in double figures at 15.4 points per game. Junior forward Jeff Adrien averages 14.1 points and a team-high 9.2 rebounds.

UConn, which doesn't have a senior on its roster, opened last season with 11 victories before losing 14 of its next 20 games.
