COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) -- No. 10 Texas A&M will go into Big 12 Conference play with a seven-game winning streak and its best start since the 1920s.

The Aggies face Colorado on Saturday in the conference opener for both teams. The Buffaloes lead the all-time series, 9-5, but have lost four straight to Texas A&M.

The Aggies have been cruising since a 78-67 loss at Arizona on December 2. Texas A&M's margin of victory since that game is 29.6 points, which includes a pair of wins by more than 35 points.

Texas A&M, 12-0 at home, is led in scoring by senior swingman Josh Carter at 13.7 points per game. Senior swingman Joseph Jones averages 11.3 points, while 7-foot freshman center DeAndre Jordan adds 10.3 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds.

Colorado, which has already bettered last year's 7-20 record, has lost 10 consecutive conference openers and dropped 29 consecutive games on the road against nationally-ranked teams.

Richard Roby, a 6-6 senior guard, leads the Buffaloes in scoring (16.6 points per game) and rebounding (6.1 per game).
