Clemson looking to get back on track against Wake Forest

CLEMSON, South Carolina (Ticker) -- Clemson faces another stiff test as it tries to get back on track.

The 25th-ranked Tigers (14-4, 2-2 ACC), who have dropped three of their last five games, host Wake Forest in an Atlantic Coast Conference contest.

Clemson is coming off Sunday's 93-80 defeat to No. 5 Duke. K.C. Rivers paced the Tigers with 16 points against the Blue Devils and leads the team in scoring, averaging 15.4 points per game.

Clemson has lost seven of its last eight games against Wake Forest, while the Tigers are 2-6 in their last eight home contests against the Demon Deacons.

James Johnson scored 21 of his career-high 26 points in the second half and grabbed nine rebounds on Sunday, as Wake Forest (12-5, 2-2) remained undefeated at home this season with a 74-57 triumph over Florida State.

Johnson, who is averaging a team-high 15.1 points and 8.5 rebounds this campaign, hit 10-of-15 shots from the field and made 4-of-5 3-pointers against Florida State. Wake Forest snapped a two-game losing streak.
