No. 9 Georgetown looks to keep rolling against West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia (Ticker) - No. 9 Georgetown will shoot for its eighth victory in its last nine games on Saturday against West Virginia.

The Hoyas (15-2, 5-1 Big East) haven't played since Monday's 64-62 overtime victory over Syracuse at home. Both of Georgetown's losses this season have come on the road.

The Hoyas lead the all-time series, 24-20. The teams have split the last four meetings.

Roy Hibbert, Georgetown's 7-2 senior center, averages 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds. Freshman guard Austin Freeman averages 11 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Hoyas.

The Mountaineers (15-4, 4-2) are 9-0 at home and have won four straight overall, including Wednesday's 66-64 victory over in-state rival Marshall.

Junior forward Alex Ruoff leads four West Virginia players, averaging double figures at 15.8 points per game. Junior forward Joe Alexander averages 15.4 points and a team-high 5.9 rebounds for the Mountaineers.
