Texas looks to continue recent domination of Texas Tech

AUSTIN, Texas (Ticker) - Texas looks to continue its recent domination of Texas Tech when the two teams meet in a Big 12 matchup on Saturday.

The 12th-ranked Longhorns (15-3, 2-1 Big 12) have won the past five meetings with the Red Raiders and are 18-2 against their in-state rival under coach Rick Barnes.

After losing its first conference game of the season at Missouri, Texas has bounced back with a pair of two-point wins over Colorado and Oklahoma State, respectively.

D.J. Augustin had 26 points in Texas' 63-61 victory over the Cowboys on Monday and leads the team in scoring at 20.8 per contest.

The Red Raiders (11-7, 2-2) are coming off a 92-84 victory over Missouri on Tuesday, giving coach Bob Knight victory No. 901.

Martin Zeno led five players in double figures with a career-high 33 points, making 19-of-24 free throws. The senior leads the team in scoring at 17.2 points per game and has reached double figures in eight consecutive contests.
