Miami looks to snap skid against Clemson

CORAL GABLES, Florida (Ticker) - Miami looks to snap a three-game losing streak when they host No. 25 Clemson in an Atlantic Coast Conference contest on Sunday.

After starting off 12-0, the Hurricanes (14-4, 1-3 ACC) have lost four of five, including a 98-82 defeat to North Carolina on Wednesday

Wednesday's setback was the first home loss of the season for the Hurricanes, who are led by Jack McClinton's 16.1 points per game.

Clemson (15-4, 3-2) has lost two straight at Miami, last winning here during the 1995-96 season.

The Tigers are coming off their third overtime game of the season, defeating Wake Forest 80-75 on Tuesday.

Clemson, which lost to North Carolina and topped Florida State in extra periods, has five players averaging in double figures. K.C. Rivers leads the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game, and the junior had 19 points and 11 rebounds in Tuesday's win for his third double-double of the season.
