WASHINGTON (Ticker) - Sixth-ranked Georgetown looks to stay atop the Big East Conference when it hosts suddenly red-hot Seton Hall on Saturday.

The Hoyas (17-2, 7-1 Big East) are coming off a dominating 74-42 victory over St. John's on Wednesday. Georgetown held the Red Storm to just 21 percent (10-of-47) shooting as it jumped out to a 27-3 lead and never looked back.

Vernon Macklin scored a career-high 18 points in the victory, while senior Roy Hibbert netted 11. The 7-2 center continues to lead Georgetown in scoring at 13.0 points per game.

The Hoyas have defeated the Pirates in three straight meetings, but Seton Hall comes in on a five-game winning streak.

The Pirates (15-6, 5-3) have climbed out of an 0-3 hole in the conference and are coming off an 84-71 overtime victory at Rutgers on Wednesday. Eugene Harvey had 26 points, six rebounds and seven assists and Brian Laing scored 23 points to pace Seton Hall.

It was the fourth straight 20-point game for the Laing, who leads the team in scoring at 19.3 points per game.
