MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - The nation's lone remaining unbeaten team, top-ranked Memphis faces Texas El Paso on Saturday.

Memphis (20-0, Conference USA) became the nation's only team yet to lose after second-ranked Kansas was beaten at Kansas State earlier this week.

Robert Dozier scored 17 of his 21 points in the second half as Memphis extended its regular-season winning streak to 39 games with an 89-77 triumph over Houston on Wednesday. The Tigers won despite committing a season-high 22 turnovers.

The Tigers enter this contest having won 29 straight conference games. They also own the nation's longest home winning streak at 43 games.

The Miners (13-6, 4-2) followed a pair of conference road losses with a pair of conference wins at home, including a 90-79 victory over Southern Mississippi on Wednesday.

Junior guard Stefon Jackson is averaging 24.0 points and 5.2 rebounds for UTEP, which is 3-5 away from home.
