PULLMAN, Washington (Ticker) - Ninth-ranked Washington State tries to rebound from its first home loss of the season Saturday when it hosts No. 14 Stanford in a Pac-10 Conference matchup.

The Cougars (17-3, 5-3 Pac-10) endured a surprising 69-64 home loss to California on Thursday. Leading-scorer Derrick Low missed all nine of his shots from the arc.

The Cardinal (17-3, 6-2) come in on a four-game winning streak and are sitting alone in second place of the Pac-10.

Sophomore Brook Lopez had a career-high 31 points and 13 rebounds as Stanford defeated Washington, 65-51, on Thursday. Lopez leads the team in scoring at 19.0 points per game and is also pulling down 8.5 rebounds per contest.

The teams split the two-game series last season, with each winning on its home floor.
