Georgia faces No. 22 Florida without Humphrey

GAINESVILLE, Florida (Ticker) - When Georgia faces No. 22 Florida on Saturday, it will do so without the servies of junior guard Billy Humphrey.

Humphrey was suspended for three games on Thursday after being arrested for underage drinking, his second arrest in less than three months.

The team's second-leading scorer was arrested early Thursday morning, a few hours after the Bulldogs (11-9, 2-5 SEC) lost their fourth straight game.

The 20-year-old will also miss Georgia's home contests next week against South Carolina and Tennessee. Humphrey is averaging 13.1 points, just behind senior guard Sundita Gaines at 13.2.

"I'm extremely disappointed any time one of our players fails to live up to being a reliable part of our team and our family," Bulldogs' coach Dennis Felton said.

Freshman forward Nick Calathes averages 15.7 points for Florida, which has defeated Georgia eight consecutive times and is 15-2 in the last 17 contests with the Gators (18-5, 5-3).
