Beasley, No. 24 Kansas State take on Oklahoma State

The Wildcats (16-5, 6-1 Big 12) head into the weekend a half-game behind Kansas in the conference. Kansas State rebounded from last Saturday's loss at Missouri with a 74-59 home win over Nebraska on Wednesday.
The Wildcats were without senior guard Clent Stewart, whose mother passed away on Tuesday. Stewart is not expected to be back for the game against the Cowboys (11-11, 2-6).
Freshman sensation Michael Beasley is averaging 25.3 points and 12.3 rebounds for Kansas State and already has tied a school record with 18 double-doubles. Freshman forward Bill Walker is averaging 15.9 points.
Oklahoma State snapped a six-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 64-63 home victory over Colorado. Until this season, the Cowboys hadn't lost six straight games since the 1986-87 campaign.
Freshman swingman James Anderson is averaging 14.9 points for Oklahoma State, 0-6 on the road.
