SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) - No. 16 Marquette attempts to garner a measure of revenge Saturday when it faces No. 21 Notre Dame in a Big East Conference matchup.

The Golden Eagles had a three-game winning streak snapped on Monday with a 71-57 loss to Louisville that also ended Marquette's 14-game home unbeaten run.

Sophomore forward Lazar Hayward averages 13.2 points for the Golden Eagles, just ahead of junior Jerel McNeal at 13 points per game.

The Irish, 13-0 at home, have won four consecutive games. Notre Dame is coming off a 95-69 rout at Seton Hall on Wednesday. Sophomore forward Luke Harangody leads the Irish at 20.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series, 76-33.
