Duke looks to rebound in ACC against Miami

CORAL GABLES, Florida (Ticker) - Duke looks to bounce back from its first Atlantic Coast Conference loss of the season on Wednesday against Miami.

The fourth-ranked Blue Devils (22-2, 10-1) had a 12-game winning streak snapped in a 86-73 loss at Wake Forest on Sunday. Duke shot 40.6 percent and had a season-high 22 turnovers heading into the game with the Hurricanes (17-7, 4-6).

"We played like we've already done something, and the team that had to win won," Blue Devils' coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "We have to always play like we have to win. That's the the sign of a champion. That's a part of learning."

Senior guard DeMarcus Nelson leads Duke at 15.5 points per game. The Blue Devils had won the 12 games prior to the Demon Deacons' contest by an average of 14.3 points. Duke has defeated Miami 11 consecutive times, including five on the road.

The Hurricanes have followed a three-game losing streak with a pair of wins, including a 64-63 win on Sunday at Georgia Tech.

Junior guard Jack McClinton leads Miami at 16.2 points per game, but was held to 10 in the Blue Devils' 88-73 win over the Hurricanes on February 2.
