Feb 24, 2008 - 3:18 PM No. 23 Louisville (21-6) at Pittsburgh (19-7) 12:00 pm EST

PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Looking to keep pace atop the Big East Conference, 23rd-ranked Louisville goes for its seventh straight win Sunday when it visits Pittsburgh.

The Cardinals (21-6, 11-3) are currently one-half game behind Georgetown (12-3), which defeated Cincinnati on Saturday.

Louisville is coming off a 61-50 victory over Syracuse, which shot just 29 percent against the Cardinals' swarming defense. Terrence Williams scored 12 points to lead the Cardinals, who are allowing just 58.0 points during its six-game winning streak.

The Panthers (19-7, 7-6) have dropped two straight games, including an 82-70 setback at Notre Dame on Thursday.

Levance Fields, who missed 12 games with a broken left foot, has come off the bench in the past two games. The junior point guard scored four points in a loss to Marquette and had 10 on Thursday.

Sam Young had 20 points against the Fighting Irish and leads the team in scoring, averaging 18.0 points this season.

Louisville won in Pittsburgh, 66-53, last season. But the Panthers beat the Cardinals by six points in the semifinal round of the Big East tournament.
