Drake looks to continue momentum at Missouri State

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri (Ticker) - After getting one of its biggest wins of the season on "Bracketbuster" Saturday, No. 20 Drake looks to build off the victory against Missouri State in a Missouri Valley Conference matchup.

The Bulldogs (24-3, 14-2 MVC) had lost two of three since a 21-game winning streak, but won at then-No. 8 Butler, 71-64, over the weekend.

Josh Young scored a career-high 25 points to lead Drake, which has already clinched the regular season conference title with two games left to play. Young leads the team in scoring at 16.5 points per game.

The Bears (14-15, 6-10) have a chance to get back-to-back wins for the first time since December 17-19, after beating Central Michigan, 90-76, on Saturday.

Dale Lamberth had 25 points in the win and senior Deven Mitchell added 23. Mitchell leads the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game.

Drake snapped a 10-game losing streak against Missouri State in the first meeting this season, a 65-54 win at home.
