Mar 5, 2008 - 1:10 PM St. John's (11-17) at No. 19 Notre Dame (22-6) 7:30 pm EST

SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) -- With the Big East Conference regular-season title out of reach, No. 19 Notre Dame still has a goal in mind.

Notre Dame looks to complete its home schedule undefeated when it hosts St. John's on Wednesday.

The Fighting Irish (22-6, 12-4), who are a perfect 16-0 at home this season, are coming off a 98-91 victory over DePaul on Sunday.

Luke Harangody scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Notre Dame. The sophomore forward also scored 40 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, registering his 17th double-double of the season during a loss to No. 13 Louisville last week en route to his third Big East Player of the Week award.

St. John's (11-17, 5-11) snapped a five-game losing streak with a thrilling 65-62 victory over Seton Hall on Saturday.

Anthony Mason scored 24 points and made 5-of-7 3-pointers, including the game-winning three with 1.7 seconds left in the game. Mason, the team's leading scorer, is averaging 13.7 points per game this season.
