Nov 17, 2006 - 3:20 PM Northeastern (0-1) at No. 5 Pittsburgh (2-0) 5:00 pm ESTPITTSBURGH (Ticker) - Pittsburgh goes for its 14th straight non-conference victory when its faces Northeastern for the first time Friday.
Aaron Gray scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds and Mike Cook added 13 as the fifth-ranked Panthers remained unbeaten with a 67-50 win over Delaware State on Tuesday.
Levon Kendall and Antonio Graves both finished with 10 points for Pittsburgh, which shot 51 percent (24-of-47) overall.
This is the first of three games in three days for the Panthers in the Colonial Classic. They will face Massachusetts on Saturday followed by Oakland on Sunday.
The Huskies shot just 37 percent (22-of-59) from the floor en route to suffering a 81-58 rout to Syracuse on Wednesday.
Freshman Matt Janning scored 16 points and Adrian Martinez added 13 and six assists for Northeastern, which lost the rebounding battle, 41-20.
