Budinger, Wildcats host Aztecs

Budinger leads the 15th-ranked Wildcats when they host New Mexico St. on Sunday.
The 6-7 Budinger scored 17 points in his collegiate debut against Virginia last Sunday, but it was not enough in a 93-90 loss. He followed that up with even a better performance in a 101-79 rout of Northern Arizona on Wednesday when he netted 32 points.
Through two games, Budinger is shooting 18-of-27 (76 percent) and is an impressive 6-of-9 from the arc.
The Aggies are coming off a 71-69 loss to Loyola Marymount on Friday. New Mexico State blew a 17-point advantage and lost on a 3-pointer with 0.9 seconds left.
