Texas A&M concludes Metcalf Classic against Saint Louis
Nov 19, 2006 - 4:21 PM Saint Louis (3-0) at No. 12 Texas A&M (3-0) 6:30 pm ESTCOLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) - No. 12 ranked Texas A&M wraps up the Shelby Metcalf Classic against Saint Louis on Sunday.
The Aggies opened the event with a 94-60 rout of Lamar on Friday before posting a 75-59 victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
Acie Law scored 21 points and Joseph Jones added 19 for Texas A&M, which held Louisiana Tech to 35 percent (17-of-49) shooting from the field.
With an 82-69 win over Lamar on Saturday, the Billikens have won their first two games of the tournament as well.
Kevin Lisch scored 27 points and Ian Vouyoukas collected 14, nine rebounds and four blocks for Saint Louis, which turned away 12 shots.
