The Gonzaga Bulldog’s women’s basketball team will kick off their non-conference schedule against Long Beach State on November 10, in Spokane, Washington.

The schedule features some quality games against some familiar opponents. The Zags will once again take on the Stanford Cardinal, this time on the road. Stanford is almost guaranteed to be at the upper reaches of the polls, once again.

The Zags will also take part in the Battle 4 Atlantis, alongside Louisville, Marquette, Rutgers, South Dakota State, Tennessee, Texas, and UCLA. That bracket will be revealed at a later date.

The Zags will face off against Wyoming again, this time in Laramie, and also have a road contest against Stephen F. Austin on the books. The Zags will close out conference play against Montana on Dec. 21.

All in all, it is a quality non-conference schedule for a Gonzaga team that has a solid level of hype entering the season. The Battle 4 Atlantis guarantees at least one game against top 25 competition, if not more. Road games against SFA and Wyoming help compliment the home schedule.

Although the Zags lost Cierra Walker, Melody Kempton, Abby O’Connor, and Anamaria Virjoghe, the Zags added Utah transfer Brynna Maxwell, JC transfer Destiny Burton, and are ready to rebound with senior seasons of the Truong twins and hopefully strong continued play from Yvonne Ejim.
