Memphis, Gergie Tech meet in Maui

MAUI, Hawaii (Ticker) - A pair of top-20 clubs meet Tuesday when 11th-ranked Memphis and No. 19 Georgia Tech face off in the second round of the Maui Invitational.

Both teams are coming off impressive wins on Monday.

Javaris Crittenton scored 17 of his 20 points in the second half as Georgia Tech pulled away from Purdue for a 79-61 victory. Crittenton shot 4-of-9 from the field and converted 11-of-12 free throws.

Lewis Clinch scored 14 points and Thaddeus Young and Zach Peacock had 13 each for the Yellow Jackets, who shot 49 percent (28-of-57) from the field.

Memphis posted a 77-65 victory over Oklahoma. Robert Dozier scored 13 points and freshman Willie Kemp added 12 for the 11th-ranked Tigers.

The Tigers scored 23 points off 21 turnovers and held a 39-33 rebounding advantage.
